AFN’s New Fall Line-up

Are you curious about new shows coming this September? AFN has “cherry-picked” the most anticipated ALL NEW talked about series from US television networks and cable. With each show generating high “buzz factor” in entertainment news and media, we have high confidence in the following contenders for 2013:

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Agents of Shield
Fresh from his role in the summer’s box office smash, Marvel’s The Avengers, Agent Phil Coulson returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. The team consists of expert in combat and espionage Agent Grant Ward, pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May and brilliant if socially awkward scientists Agent Leo Fitz and Agent Jemma Simmons. They are joined by a new civilian recruit and computer hacker “Skye”.

Dylan McDermott stars as the lead hostage taker compelled to do the wrong thing for the right reasons in this taut drama filled with unexpected twists and turns.

Bound to the Headless Horseman by a blood spell cast on the battlefield of the American Revolution, Ichabod quickly realizes that stopping Headless is just the beginning, as the resurrected rider is but the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Five strangers’ lives are intertwined by a curse, and their own histories. Ravenswood is a town not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of “Pretty Little Liars”), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. This “Pretty Little Liars” spin-off finds Caleb Rivers suddenly connected to this fatal curse and needing to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late.
