LGBT Pride Month on AFN

LGBT Pride Month is an opportunity for Americans to demonstrate to the world the true meaning of freedom and equality. LGBT Pride Month is a time to understand the struggles, achievements and contributions made by members of the LGBT community and to recognize with pride, that they now serve openly, with full honor, integrity and respect. In recognition of this commemorative month, AFN has planned special programming to air on AFN|spectrum, AFN|pulse, AFN|xtra and AFN|movie.

AFN’s recognition of LGBT Pride Month begins on June 1st with “Stonewall Uprising,” the dramatic event that launched a global rights movement, and concludes June 27th at 9:30pm with an encore showing of “The Normal Heart,” starring Julia Roberts and Jonathan Groff.
